On. Her.

HER PRINT - 2025

if letters are straight lines
configured to be symbols,
arranged in what we recognise as our alphabet -
then these are linestoo wayward,
sensual,
amplified,
and unruly.
too human -
let’s not pin them down.

the mind,
revving to decipher
should calm,
and leave whatever instinctive, involuntary chemical reaction that takes place at first sight to linger longer than splitters of seconds.

to come up with a elegant spiel for her and a title to match her presence, is to define something neither of us thinks requires an explanation - I’m speaking for me and the artwork, that is.

with all that being said -
she has a nickname.

affectionately, she is the ‘post stamp’.
I’m guessing for the lines and lips in the top left corner and the postbox, naphthol red.

officially, however, she remains unbound by a title.

without any rivals - she is my current favourite;
without any specific reason
other than being called to love her.

update:

good things must be shared -
so she is now available as a print.

and for now,

she is “HER”.
